Sheffield Energy Works’ Lizzie & Lakshmi were invited to the Department for Energy Security Net Zero’s Community Energy Day. They left inspired by the incredible range of projects and the passion of people involved in the community energy sector.

The promise of the biggest UK government investment into community energy to date - brilliant news for those in hard-to-decarbonise sectors, and should open up the opportunity for some truly innovative projects.

We’re delighted to announce the creation of the Community Benefit Society: Sheffield Energy Works, acting as the asset owner for our first clean energy project, reMooable Energy.
